Privacy Policy
Effective July 23, 2026
1. Who we are
FDZ Labs is a Vancouver, British Columbia technology studio providing AI strategy, custom software, SaaS development, and automation services. This policy explains how FDZ Labs collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use fdzlabs.com, contact us, work with us, or authorize one of our social-platform integrations.
Questions and privacy requests can be sent to contact@fdzlabs.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you email us, apply to a program, request a consultation, or become a client, we may collect your name, email address, business information, project requirements, communications, and any files or other information you choose to provide.
Inquiries submitted through our general contact form and applications submitted to our Free Website Program use embedded forms hosted by our form provider, Gapform. Loading pages containing these embedded forms connects your browser to Gapform, and Gapform may receive technical request data such as your IP address, browser and device information, and referring-page information, even if you do not submit a form. When you complete and submit a form, the information you enter — such as your name, contact details, business information, and inquiry details or website requirements — is transmitted to and processed by Gapform on our behalf and made available to FDZ Labs. Gapform’s handling of that information is also subject to its own terms and privacy practices. If you would prefer not to load an embedded form or submit data through one, you can reach us by emailing us directly at contact@fdzlabs.com.
Website analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand aggregate website usage, such as visited pages, referring sources, device categories, and broad geographic trends. Ahrefs describes this service as cookie-free and privacy-friendly. Information processed by Ahrefs is also governed by the Ahrefs Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
Cloudflare Web Analytics may also process aggregate traffic metrics for the site as part of our hosting on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare’s processing is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
With your explicit consent, we may also use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site (for example pages viewed and approximate region). GA4 uses cookies and similar technologies when analytics storage is allowed. By default, analytics storage is denied and the Google tag is not loaded until you choose Accept in the on-site analytics prompt. You can change or revoke that choice at any time via Analytics preferences in the site footer. Rejecting or revoking consent updates the consent state to denied and clears this site’s Google Analytics cookies where the browser allows. Information processed by Google is also governed by the Google Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
Social-platform integrations
If an authorized administrator connects a company social-media account to an FDZ Labs tool, we may receive account and Page identifiers, administrator authorization information, access tokens, posts and media managed through the tool, and engagement information such as comments, reactions, shares, and aggregate performance metrics. The exact information depends on the permissions approved by the administrator and the platform.
3. How we use information
- Respond to inquiries and provide requested services.
- Evaluate applications and potential projects.
- Operate, secure, maintain, and improve our website and systems.
- Publish, manage, and measure company social content when an authorized administrator directs us to do so.
- Detect abuse, troubleshoot problems, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information or social-platform data. We do not use social-platform data to build advertising profiles, conduct surveillance, or make eligibility decisions.
4. When we disclose information
We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary:
- To service providers that support hosting, email, analytics, application-form intake, security, and software operations.
- To a social platform when carrying out an action requested by an authorized administrator.
- To professional advisers under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
- When required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and system security.
- As part of a business transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards and notice where required.
Our providers may process information outside British Columbia or Canada, where it may be subject to local law.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to provide services, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Social-platform authorization tokens are retained while the integration remains connected or until they expire or are revoked. Platform data cached for operations or reporting is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer needed.
To request access, correction, or deletion, or to withdraw consent where applicable, email contact@fdzlabs.com. You can also disconnect an integration or revoke its access from the relevant social platform's settings.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. These include access controls, least-privilege permissions, secure credential storage, and encrypted network connections where supported. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access or correct your personal information, request deletion, withdraw consent, or ask how information has been used or disclosed. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request and may retain information where permitted or required by law.
8. Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices, services, or legal obligations. We will publish the revised policy here and update its effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through another appropriate channel.
